Climate Emergency Camden have written to the Mayor of London asking him to intervene following Camden’s approval of Yoo Capital’s proposal to demolish the Saville Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue, and replace with an environmentally damaging new building. This is far worse than the scheme that Camden refused in 2017 (see diagram), so it is very hard to see any justification for approval. We hope that the Mayor takes action on this.
