We are having an open meeting for people who want to find out more about what CEC has been doing. Please come along to share ideas and thoughts on what we can do here in Camden.
Climate Emergency Camden has been working with the Council as it prepares to declare a Climate Emergency at the full council meeting in October and to set out its climate action plan. As well as attending and participating in the Assembly itself back in July, CEC has been holding a series of discussions with the Council on the next steps. In addition to advocating for continued strong engagement from the community, and from groups such as Transition Towns Camden, we have been thinking about how we can work to raise more awareness in the community about the climate emergency and what we can all do to respond. We are hoping to roll out a CEC ‘road show’ in the autumn.
